Welcome to the University of Kent Kickboxing Club. The UKC Kickboxing Clubs teaches a variety of Kickboxing and Self Defence to help students develop their skills within the sport and to develop their confidence in the real world. Whether the student is a beginner or advanced, the club aims to improve your technique, fitness and strength with a variety of skilled classes to cater for everyone. The club prides itself on being the largest sports club on the UKC campus and helps students to meet new people. There is also a large social side to the club with regular activities and outings. We welcome all abilities with a Friendly atmosphere.
Please click on the links at the side for more information on each of the classes. Classes primarily run during the first and second term, but classes are run all year for any students that are still in Canterbury.
Beginners: Mondays and Thursdays 19.00-20.00 (Main Sport Hall)
Advanced: Tuesdays 18.00-20.00 (Small Sports Hall)
Sparring: Mondays 20.00-21.00 (Main Sports Hall)
There are additional classes put on throughout the year however, these will be notified to students in classes, these are normally on a weekend. Anyone wishing to have a private lesson please contact the Coach.
